Healing of Relational Wounds

We were in leadership at our previous congregation and had been deeply wounded by another couple. While time and distance helped to dim the pain, it didn’t take much for all those old feelings of hurt, pain, anger and vengeance to well up again. The night before the Redigging the Well Conference with Marc Dupont, we learned some things the couple had said about us since we left things so hurtful they trumped anything that had been previously said. We went into the weekend earnestly begging God to heal us of this relational wound. We even asked God to wake up Monday morning and know for certain that we were healed and that it was a done deal. Sunday evening when Marc called forward all those who had been hurt in ministry, we honestly felt like God was answering our prayers. The week following the meetings was amazing. We feel no lingering pain, no thoughts of revenge. For something that consumed us for several years to disappear overnight…only God could do that. He truly answered our prayers beyond what we could have imagined. 

Healing from Headaches

For approximately the past four years, I have been dealing with headaches. I would get them every day, sometimes multiple times throughout the day and at times with migraine symptoms. I had been prayed for multiple times for healing as well as praying myself for healing and deliverance from the headaches. 

The week before Marc Dupont came to ECC, I read the booklet “How to Keep Your Healing” by Kenneth Hagin. This book completely changed the way I viewed healing. It really does take a level of faith to walk out your healing. So many times we are healed in a meeting where the presence of God is so strong and where those around us and those praying for us are believing in faith for the healing. We get healed and go home and before long the symptoms are back the same as before, if not worse. Through reading this book I realized that there’s also a part we need to play in obtaining healing. Satan will put the symptoms back on us hoping we will give in and be defeated and accept the pain back. We need to learn to stand in faith and resist the devil. When we feel the symptoms coming back, we need to tell Satan to flee from us and keep claiming our healing.

After reading this book, and being prayed for by Marc to receive healing power and authority, I began to declare healing once again. I have noticed a remarkable difference – praise God! I know I am healed and praise God for His healing work in my life.

Healing is Sometimes a Process

For years I have suffered with weak, painful knee joints. There are times where walking down stairs was a high risk because I never knew if my leg would collapse as I bent one knee, fully supporting my body weight and lowering the opposing foot to the next step. 

Before coming to ECC, I had surgery on one knee to remove painful chips from the area. Since coming to Christ, I have been prayed over many times. I have had a few conversations with the Lord asking for some pain relief. He quietly directed me to lose weight, exercise more and to see a good doctor. We have to do our part in some healing circumstances.  I am continuing to lose weight and take some (not much) medication. I exercise and continue to pray and accept the prayers of others to continue on my way to pain-free knees. With my wife’s help, I am able to fast for a few days a week. This helps everything – weight, mental concentration and knee pain. It also helps me focus on the source of all healing.

Healed Collar Bone

I was at camp when I broke my left clavicle. After seeing an orthopedic doctor, surgery was scheduled to repair my shattered collar bone. My family prayed for me the night before the surgery, hoping that the Lord would heal me. I went through the surgery the following day and began my recovering journey. A week after the surgery, I went back to see the doctor and was told to keep my arm in a sling and to not move it for five weeks. 

Sunday night when Marc was here, I was in a lot of pain during the meeting. A couple at the church felt led to pray for me and when they laid hands on me, I felt electricity go from the right side of my body to my left side where the injury had occurred. It felt like a knife was being pulled out of my shoulder as hands were laid where the scar is from my surgery. After being prayed for, I immediately felt no pain. The only thing that would bother me at times were the screws from the plate.

On Tuesday, I went back to the doctor and hand an x-ray taken. I was told that everything looked really good, the screws were fine and I was healing up well. The doctor was not willing to admit to any healings but said all looked really good and to come back in three weeks. 

I have absolutely no pain anymore and am now praying the Lord would supernaturally remove the titanium plate to show the doctor that God is real and very powerful.

Healing Ministry Wounds

God revealed an area of wounding in my life that I thought I had completely dealt with.  When I was ministered to for healing of wounds from ministry, I was set free. I believe after seeking God about this that word curses had been spoken over me by leadership and I needed to be set free of them in order to be fully moving in what God has for me. I thank God for Marc Dupont’s obedience to God’s voice and the leadership for being faithful in ministry.

Local Dentist Healed of Cancer, Wife’s Ear Pops Open

I had a biopsy which came back as an invasive spreading type of malignant metastatic melanoma, meaning a very aggressive skin cancer. The biopsy said the margin of the tissue sample was not clear, meaning they didn’t get it all. One night my wife, Pam, prayed for me. I felt a searing heat on my back where Pam’s hand lay.  I had a second biopsy at the very same spot. The results – no melanoma or anything that looks like melanoma (melanocytic atypical)… just scar tissue from the previous biopsy, and there was no melanoma in the lymph nodes. God healed me! As a result of this healing, I have become bold in my testimony and it has opened doors for prayer with my sister, neighbors and staff. 

Pam was also healed! Approximately ten years ago, Pam’s left ear was treated with antibiotics for an infection. The ear drum ruptured, scar tissue formed and she had almost total hearing loss. One Sunday during worship, the church was praying out for healing for several things.  Pastor Barry was specifically praying for women unable to get pregnant.  He spoke the word Ephrata, meaning fruitful, and “be open” (referring to the womb). Pam and I were praying for a specific woman struggling with infertility for years. At that moment Pam had the sensation of heat come into her ear and a distinct pop like her ear was opening up.  Sound from the front suddenly rushed in and the Holy Spirit continued to touch her entire body. Today she still has excellent hearing in that ear.

This all started Dec. 7th 2007. I had problems in my urinary tract, which was showing some blood. I received prayer in Dec. for healing but doctors always love tests. It started with a cat scan which showed a mass of some type in my bladder. Next test ….a cystostopy was scheduled. I again received prayer for healing and when the doctor did the exam he was surprised to find NOTHING, praise God. But….doctors do not give up so easy. Next test on the list was a prostate biopsy since this had all the symptoms of prostate cancer. I again received prayer, this time with anointing of oil. The test came and went and No problems in the prostate.  Next test….a DNA evaluation which found suspicion of urinary tract carcinoma. By now I am tired of tests. Then one week in church Barry stated not all healing happens right away and you should continue to ask for the power of healing. I received pray during church 3 or 4 weeks ago and a vision and voice came to me later that said, son you are healed just trust in me. I did but it is tough when the doctors keep telling me it must be something. 

The doctor did a complete biopsy of the bladder, kidneys and everything in between.  I was so sick from this test I missed 4 days of work due to the severe pain and now I was ( in the flesh) starting to get concerned  and scared.

Well last night I met the doctor for the test results… NOTHING could be found, all biopsy’s came back normal. The doctor was totally perplexed, he said to me, you told me before you were healed and he could not doubt it. The feeling that I had at this time can not be described all I wanted to do was call people and tell them. I want to thank all those who prayed for me and believed with me for the healing, especially my wife Patti who kept me on the right mental path so I did not go crazy with all this.

Well 5 months went by and now I can proclaim that the healing was asked for and received. Praise God!!!!!!!!
